I have sold and shipped sewing machines in the past and they have always made it without damage. The case is structurally sound but shows wear and has an area of missing blue fabric on the side.This machine is not perfect but it is a very good example of a Singer Red Eye which comes ready to use.The machine will be well packed for safe shipping. There are some small chips to the black paint along the edges of the base. The paint and decals on the machine are in above average condition with most of the decals still present. The machine will come with the vintage case shown in the pictures. The machine has been cleaned and lubricated and is ready to use.
There are no frayed areas on any of the cords. The power cords are pliable and complete. This machine was originally a treadle model but, at some point, was electrified with a Singer motor, pedal and light. Being offered is a 1918 Singer model 66 Red Eye sewing machine.
